Guest Speaker: Damon Woods
Damon Woods is a research associate professor at University of Idaho and director of the Integrated Design Lab (or IDL) in Boise. The IDL serves as an educational resource to Idaho's architects and engineers. Some of IDL's research projects include analyzing energy use in buildings, exploring bio-based construction materials, and measuring factors that affect occupant health and comfort. Damon studied mechanical engineering at Montana State and Boise State, and completed his doctorate at the University of Idaho.
When not teaching or studying building science, Damon can be found working on his Christmas tree farm together with his wife in Canada.
